Ordinary Monochromatic Light Emitting Diode

Ordinary monochromatic light-emitting diodes have the advantages of small size, low operating voltage, small operating current, uniform and stable light emission, fast response speed, long life, etc., and can be driven by various DC, AC, pulse and other power sources. It belongs to a current-controlled semiconductor device, and needs to be connected in series with a suitable current-limiting resistor.

The light-emitting color of an ordinary monochromatic light-emitting diode is related to the light-emitting wavelength, which in turn depends on the semiconductor material used to manufacture the light-emitting diode. The wavelength of red light-emitting diodes is generally 650-700nm, the wavelength of amber light-emitting diodes is generally 630-650nm, the wavelength of orange light-emitting diodes is generally about 610-630nm, the wavelength of yellow light-emitting diodes is generally about 585nm, and the wavelength of green light-emitting diodes is generally about 585nm. Generally 555 ~ 570nm.
